MARCO VIGEVANI

I was born in Milan in 1960. I began working in publishing in 1985 for Longanesi with Mario Spagnol. From 1987 to 2000 I worked for Mondadori, both in fiction and Non-Fiction, carrying out a variety of editorial jobs. From 2000 to 2001 I lived in New York as a visiting scholar of Columbia University. In 2001 I came back to Italy and set up the Marco Vigevani Literary Agency.

CLAIRE SABATIÉ-GARAT

I was born in 1976 in Paris (France) and have lived in Italy since 1998. My editorial experience began in the children’s book sector of Gallimard Jeunesse. Following this I worked at Tallandier publishers as a a Junior editor in Non-Fiction. From 1999 to 2001 I was director of the publications at the French Academy at Villa Medici in Rome. I have been working with Marco Vigevani since the creation of the agency in September 2001. I have been Junior Partner since 2006 and in that same year I was a Fellow of the Frankfurt Book Fair.
